Eucalyptus essential oil is obtained from the leaves of the tree, this is a clearing and penetrating oil, and a powerful antiseptic, which may be added to a Fragrance Free base to create an antiseptic lotion. It is also an excellent essential oil to add to blends for use either before or after sporting activities. Ideal in the ‘sick room’, eucalyptus can be used in a Room Burner or for inhalation during the winter.

Precautions: Eucalyptus oil should not be used on children under the age of 3. It is toxic if taken internally and can irritate the skin if undiluted. It is best avoided by people with high blood pressure or epilepsy. Do not use for more thn few days due to risk of toxicity and do not use with homoepathic remedies.
