Peppermint essential oil is obtained from the leaves and flowering tops of the herb, peppermint is a pleasantly soothing, stimulating and cooling essential oil, and refreshing when traveling long distances. Use it in a Room Burner to help maintain concentration, add sparingly to your bath during the summer months, or add to a footbath or our Fragrance Free Lotion for tired feet. Peppermint essential oil is also useful as an insect repellent.
Precautions: Peppermint oil is must not be used with any homeopathic remedies. It can sensitize due to it's high menthol content. Some sources say do not use in the first four months of pregnancy.
